People protect
what they love
but they only love
what they know.

The world’s oceans cover more that two thirds of the earth’s surface. Beneath the waves of the Seas surrounding Great Britain are some of the finest marine habitats in Europe, including spectacular coldwater coral reefs and vast underwater forests of kelp and seaweed.

Within each of these habitats are hidden even more magical worlds of miniature plants and animals, many of them too small to be seen with the naked eye. All these habitats attract some amazing wildlife, from otters to basking sharks and at least nine species of whales to exquiste microorganisms, hidden within sand and seagrass. This rich and diverse array of spectacular wildlife and natural habitats provide a wealth of benefits to society, from food and jobs to education and inspiration.

An understanding of
the natural world
and what's in it
is a source of not only
a great curiosity
but great fulfilment.

OCEAN DEVOTION aims to create a sense
of awe and appreciation for our oceans.

In a world full of bad news and doomsday scenarios we want to communicate positive messages about the wonders of ocean life. With the use of unique experiences such as microscopic investigations of local marine life we aim to instil a sense of ownership of our Seas and to awaken a sentiment of responsibility for their protection. Our workshops are fun and interactive and always based on nothing but scientific facts. We want our audiences to enjoy the wonders of nature and the pleasure of discovering something new.
